Evangelism Explosion (EE) Kenya is a Christian organization that trains and equips Christians through the local church to participate in personal evangelism, discipleship and healthy church growth strategies. This goal is accomplished through teaching and equipping church leaders, of evangelical denominations, who in turn train and mentor their lay people for the Great Commission. 

A Practical Ministry

One of the most unique aspects of this ministry is the practical On-the-Job Training (OJT) that enables each participant (trainee) to practice with a trainer in actual witnessing before graduating from the training.  Evangelism Explosion Kenya is currently working with over 100 local churches that have on-going EE training ministries.  Thousands of people are hearing the Gospel through personal visitations of EE trained Christians and majority of those who hear choose to respond to Christ’s saving grace positively leading to thousands of professions.

Measurable Achievements

Evangelism Explosion, has for the last 15 years been working with both urban and local churches in Kenya. These churches can testify to significant church growth in form of new believers and spiritual maturity as their lay people become more involved in evangelism and discipleship.  This ministry is working with over thirty evangelical denominations and hundreds of local churches. The ministry is registered in Kenya under Society Act, has a National Executive Council (NEC), a small full-time staff and a team of volunteers including pastors and church leaders. The ministry’s activities are coordinated from a central office located along Ngong Road, Nairobi. The NEC Board oversees the ministry’s operation and policy formulation. Each year Trainings are available in major cities and towns throughout Kenya leading to hundreds of local churches participating in the on-going EE training and discipleship. 

The Challenge

Whereas the training and mobilization of churches and diversified evangelical denominations in itself poses challenges, our major shortfall is in limited funding. Evangelism Explosion Kenya survives on financial support of those who believe in this great work and wish to see it continue. The ministry is non-profit totally dependent on contributions to function. For that matter the ministry has been operating at minimum and is in need of more resources to meet the stated goals. EE Kenya is raising partners who will support towards the on-going expenses. This support being raised is primarily for Evangelism Explosion Kenya and the financial needs and expenses incurred during the next financial year and projections.

Donations and Financial Support

You may give your donation either for general or for a specific use –on a project such as printing of literature: Kids EE Manual, EE Leadership Flipchart or administration purposes and other expenses.

All cheques, money orders and/or any bank negotiable instruments or otherwise; should be drawn to and in the name of, and/or payable to Evangelism Explosion Kenya bank account; and once confirmed, an official receipt shall be issued.
