What is EE?EE stands for Evangelism Explosion. It is an international ministry which seeks to train and equip church leaders and ordinary believers (clergy and laity) for evangelism and discipleship. It was founded by Dr. James Kennedy in 1963 as a non-profit corporation. In more than 30 years, God has spread this ministry in all the 212 political nations of the world. Over 200 denominations are using it in their churches.Who Should Attend The Clinic?

Through the involvement of the host congregation that has a vibrant EE ministry, you will see first-hand how to establish an EE training ministry in your church. You will receive the teaching notes, level one Training Notebook used by trainees, and copies of other supplementary booklets and materials. Meals are provided. The six days of an EE Clinic includes lectures, demonstrations, practices, sessions, prayer groups, and worship periods, and on-the-job training. HOW EE WORKSChurch leaders and lay people need 3 things to get them going in evangelism. Only God can give the Holy Spirit, but the other factors are know-how and confidence. Evangelism Explosion has spent more than 30 years giving Christians exactly that! PERSONAL INVOLVEMENTThe basic unit of EE discipleship is the three-member team. Each team is led by a person who has completed one semester of EE and has been certified as a trainer. He then recruits two members to serve as his trainees for one semester. The trainer provides not only a good example but also offers encouragement, prayer and personal assistance. TRAINING MATERIALSEE is a dynamic, not a canned approach to evangelism. The trainee memorizes only a basic gospel outline, methodically adding illustrations and Bible verses until the presentation is personalized and has become a part of him. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING VISITSEach class climaxes when the instructor dismisses the teams to go out on actual witnessing calls. Visiting in homes, trainees watch as their trainer makes a loving presentation. By the semester's end, he has not only seen the good news shared, but has personally presented it as well. THOROUGH FOLLOW-UPEvangelism is only one part of EE thrust. Training also provides a thorough, step-by-step system of follow-up for new converts. Discipleship begins instantly and continues for weeks to come.Trainees learn to guide the new convert through the basics of prayer, Bible study, worship, fellowship and witness. During careful follow-up care, the new believer is folded into the congregation and is invited to serve as a prayer partner in the local EE ministry. THE PRINCIPLE OF MULTIPLICATIONIt takes place when the trainees become trainers and each one equips two new trainees. This process of spiritual multiplication comes right out of 2 Timothy 2:2 - "The things that thou hast heard commit to faithful men who are able to teach others also."EE teaches church leaders to "start small and build strong ministry when one trained pastor puts this multiplication process into practice, after only four semesters, or two years, his church can equip 81 personal soul-winners. Training soul winners while winning souls will transform the life of any church. EE LEADERSHIP CLINIC TRAININGTo begin EE ministry in your church, the pastor or other staff member should first attend a Leadership Clinic. EE Clinics are hosted by churches of various denominations. Clinics are scheduled throughout the year. During the clinic almost everything is planned to role-model what happens in a local church 16-week training semester."Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Acts 1:8Our Purpose Statement"To glorify God by equipping local churches in the Philippines and Filipino congregations worldwide to multiply through friendship, evangelism, discipleship, healthy growth, and missions" The EE AdvantageEE is the FIRST MINISTRY OPERATING in EVERY NATION on EARTH! EE is LOW-COST and LEAN!It doesn't require extensive infrastructure or even paid staff - your lay people can be trained as leaders using training materials for your budget. EE is CHURCH-BASED and CHURCH STRENGTHENING!Unlike some para-church evangelism ministries, it is aimed at bringing people directly into your church through the outreach of your own members. EE is a DYNAMIC DISCIPLESHIP TOOLIt establishes both new and long-time believers in their faith and helps them to grow into mature, effective, and active servants of Christ. |
